I am an affiliated artist to Strathmore Artist Papers and Zest-It. This means that you can buy the materials I use and are recommended by me straight from here!
I use Strathmore paper for ALL my paper based artwork. It can take so much 'punishment' and produces excellent results with blending and does not yellow over time.
For coloured pencil work I recommend Vellum as it provides slightly more 'tooth' than Smooth but has a lovely texture free surface still. 400 series is the perfect balance between professional and excellent grade suitable even for exhibitions
For professional use and commissions my paper of choice is their 500 series. It never stretches out of shape and gives that quality that tells a customer that they are important to you
For every day use for a variety of mediums I recommend Strathmore 300 series. Perfect weight without compromising on quality. The 300 series is the paper I suggest at all my art classes and groups. It always produces fantastic results and is perfect for drawing and mixed media

For everyday sketches, Strathmore sell two great papers. For quick sketches there is the 300 series Sketch or for more detailed work or if you want to use mixed media they sell a 400 series Sketch paper. Both are perfect compliments to your paper supply.
Do you like the idea of a sketch book and a scrap book combined into one journal? This Visual Journal does it all. From sticking in specimens of leaves to bits of paper that inspire you. Sketching to pen and ink then this is perfect!
The Strathmore Soft Cover toned gray sketchbook is divine! It even smells delicious.
With 400 series paper this little gem can take almost anything with fantastic results every time
ACEOs or Art Trading Cards
Miniature art is a set size of 2.5" x 3.5".
Trading cards are designed for artists that either wish to 'trade' art with other artists or as an ACEO which is an economical way to start collecting art. They make a fantastic gift at an affordable price and many art societies hold classes especially for miniature art. Fun, handy and pocket sized make these little gems priceless.
You can even get little plastic display sleeves and envelopes! Click on the images to purchase.

Boats of Colour No.1
Boats of Colour combines Coloured Pencil with Artstix and solvent to create a hyper surreal scene of heightened colours. One fan has asked if this is what Heaven feels like and another states that this picture makes her feel serene and happy. What more can an artists ask for.
This painting is currently exclusive to ArtGallery.co.uk and has been published in Color Pencil Magazine in USA
